Bad Experience - Cancelled last minute

BAD EXPERIENCE - Made a reservation on April for an end of June stay for the family (4). Got a cancellation 4 days before checkin. I was already in Portugal and enjoying my vacation in the South. All was interrupted to try to find a new reservation because they didn’t even communicated with me with other options or anything- just cancelled. I found a new place on my own, more expensive of course - being 4 days within checkin. Of course no one is being accountable for the additional expense. When I finally got a response to my emails/texts they said they overbooked and asked not to comment on social media or other forums 😡 If you book here, beware this could happen to you too. Unfortunate, first time in Lisbon and this is how we are greeted.

I spent there 7 days with my family and the flat is very well located, fabulous panoramic view and very compfotable for 5 people by size. The apartment was very clean and easy to access. Next door of the building there is a little cafe to have the quick breakfast for the family.

Very central location - hidden behind a coded-entry door next to a little cafe, we had the 1-bed apartment on the 3rd floor, access via a modern lift. The website photos are 100% accurate! The apartment is beautifully decorated and the views across the city to the Castelo de S. Jorge. Comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen & bathroom. The day beds in the lounge were lovely to relax on after long walks! There is a fair bit of noise at night - from neighbouring roof-top bars, but we slept well anyway (and ear-plugs are provided in case of need). Residentas team checked up via WhatsApp to see if all OK, or if we needed anything, we felt undisturbed but supported, we had a lovely stay. Location is across from the Miradouro park, and Baixa-Chiado and Restauradoures Metro stations are nearby. Lots of tiny supermarkets on the back streets, and good local bakeries too - turn right up the hill, on past the florists there is a beautiful pastelaria, or the cafe on the ground floor is an easy option. Down the street the M'Arrecreo pizzeria is fantastic (book ahead), and Luggage at City Center is super convenient to drop your bags for departure day (see separate review, short walk down hill, with washrooms and close to Metro.
